Giving Back Campaign with Lexington Glassworks

Babies Need Bottoms is proud to partner with Asheville’s premier glassblowing studio and gallery, Lexington Glassworks, and thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as the beneficiary of their Giving Back Campaign. This holiday season, for every sale of the exclusive Mica Tumbler, 3% of all proceeds will be donated to Babies Need Bottoms.

Collaborations like this are so meaningful because it helps the wider community understand that Western North Carolina is a beautiful place, where all families can thrive, but we all have a role to play to support one another. Through partnership with Lexington Glassworks, residents and visitors alike can play a small part in helping all babies have their basic needs met, so they have the best possible start in life.
Small local businesses have a unique opportunity to create meaningful change in their communities through intentional acts of giving. “Unlike large corporations, we operate at the grassroots level—we know our neighbors and understand local needs. Every purchase from a local business becomes a chance to multiply good, creating ripple effects that extend far beyond a single transaction,” says Marketing Director, Ashleigh Hardes Koslow.
Lexington Glassworks has embraced this philosophy through its Giving Back Campaign, which is dedicated to supporting the incredible work of nonprofit organizations across Western North Carolina. What started as a simple desire to use their craft for good has become a cornerstone of how they operate.
This season, LGW is dedicating support to Babies Need Bottoms with the release of their Mica Tumbler. Named for the mineral Mica, which can be found throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains, this Seasonal Tumbler captures the same depth and reflective qualities that make the mineral so captivating.

“We were excited to partner with Babies Need Bottoms because of their commitment and dedication to improve the lives of babies, toddlers, and parents in Western North Carolina through diaper distribution, community awareness, and partnerships,” said the team at Lexington Glassworks.
