First Diaper Drive of 2018

ASHEVILLE, NC – We are excited to announce our first diaper drive of 2018. The drive is being hosted by The Little Gym of Asheville, located at 1000 Brevard Rd Suite 168, Asheville, NC. We are asking the community to drop-off children’s diapers of all sizes (disposable or cloth), diaper creams and diaper wipes. The collection box is available during business hours for The Little Gym of Asheville. Diapers and related supplies that are received will benefit community partners, including Helpmate and BEAR Closet.

Babies Need Bottoms Inc. is a new, volunteer nonprofit diaper bank in Asheville, NC. The mission of Babies Need Bottoms is to improve the lives of babies, toddlers, and parents in the Greater Asheville area through diaper distribution, community awareness and partnerships.

Helpmate provides a variety of free and confidential services to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They offer a 24-hour hotline, individual and group counseling, court advocacy, temporary emergency shelter for women and children, child and family advocacy, community education and professional training.

BEAR Closet helps families who need some extra assistance to take care of their babies. They help supply families with the basic necessities a baby needs early in life. They also serve to connect these families to resources in the community that they may not have known about.
